The draft Law on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) has just been widely announced by the Ministry of Planning & Investment for public comments this July. This law is expected to form an advantageous legal framework for the PPP model to captivate more investment into public services, especially infrastructure development in Vietnam.
Wishing to provide an additional perspective of public - private partnerships in the aspects of contract law about potentialities, legal risks and contractual dispute resolution to serve both the Public sector and Private sector, and also to bring in experiences shared by Vietnamese and Korean experts in avoiding investment disputes in PPP projects, VIAC and the Korea Commercial Arbitration Board (KCAB) and Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) jointly host the workshop “Prevent & Resolve contractual disputes in frastructure PPP projects: Practice in Vietnam, International Experience & Policy Orientation”.

The workshop aims to serve the provincial-level project management units; project management units of Ministries; provincial-level People's Committees; large corporations who are being or intend to be involved into public-private partnerships, construction corporations, banks participating in the process of structuring the financial model of infrastructure PPP projects, and big law firms practicing consultancy services for investment projects, contracts and dispute resolution.
